Implementation
SUWIDHA has been implemented in all the 17 Deputy Commissioner Offices. Deputy Commissioners have been charging facilitation charges for sustainability of the project. Deputy Commissioner is the overall project in-charge. He has identified one district level officer as Project Officer, SUWIDHA. Computer Operators have been hired on contract basis. All the branches of the DC office supports at the back-end where SUBS has been implemented. The facilitation charges so collected are deposited in IT society for Citizen Services under the chairmanship of Deputy Commissioner. All operational expenses of the project are taken care by this society. Application Software has been developed and maintained by NIC-Punjab State Centre and District Informatics Officers are providing day-to-day technical support in successful operations of the project.
